The starting point.
The customer needed several gantry wheel shafts removed and replaced while retaining the wheel bores. Controlled dismantling was essential to preserve the components that would be reused.

OUR SCOPE
What we delivered.
STARKON used its workshop lifting, pressing and heating equipment to remove the shafts. The wheels were then prepared for new shafts, bearings and the remaining assembly components. Cooling was used during the shaft installation process.
THE RESULT
The completed work.
After preservation and greasing, the completed assemblies were ready to be installed beneath the crane. The project shows how replacement parts and workshop service can be combined in one scope.
