Multi-lug lifting beams

A multi-lug lifting beam provides a series of connection positions to suit different cargo lifting points. STARKON develops the beam arrangement around the load, available headroom and required connection spacing. Share the lifting sequence and centre of gravity so we can define the permitted attachment positions and load cases. Beam length, lug spacing and the connection to the lifting machine are agreed for each configuration.

Questions before you specify.

Practical details for your equipment enquiry.

Why use a multi-lug lifting beam?

Multiple lugs provide a choice of connection positions for cargo with different lifting-point spacing. The permitted positions and working load limits are defined for the specific beam and lifting arrangement.

Which details are needed for a lifting-beam quotation?

Send the cargo weight and centre of gravity, lifting-point spacing, required beam length, available headroom and machine interface. Include the intended sling arrangement and each load case.
