The vessel’s limited time in port provided a short opportunity to inspect and realign its reel-drive installation. STARKON had previously been involved in construction of the NOV equipment.

What we delivered.
Working with NOV and the vessel’s crew, the team inspected the drive and adjusted the shafts and couplings. Additional shims were machined on board to complete the alignment work.
THE RESULT
The completed work.
The project was completed over five working days, returning the drive to smooth operation before the vessel continued its programme.
