Short rail replacements on eleven STS cranes.
Production, supply and installation of short rail components for nine ZPMC cranes and two Reggiane cranes.
The project
STARKON supplied the components and carried out the installation for eleven STS cranes in 2022. Workshop production and on-site execution were handled as one repair scope.
The work
The work included preparation of the short rails, alignment and machining of the supporting profiles, and attention to the rail support and preservation. Geometry and the condition of each crane guided the installation. Measurements were used to assess the completed transitions.
