AN ECONOMICAL COIL HANDLING SOLUTION

More from your
roll trailer.

Heavy-duty steel coils need dedicated support during transport. This STARKON adapter provides an economical solution for safe and efficient coil movements using a suitable roll trailer.

The featured configuration accommodates coils up to 33 tonnes per coil. Its removable design keeps the trailer available for other breakbulk loads when coil transport is complete.

DESIGNED AROUND THE TRAILER

Support that follows the load.

01

Follows trailer deflection

A loaded roll trailer deflects. The adapter is designed to follow that movement as part of the support arrangement, with the complete load case assessed for the selected trailer.

02

Fits a suitable trailer

The adapter can be mounted on a wide range of suitable roll trailers. Deck geometry, connection points, support positions and permitted loads determine compatibility.

03

Returns to breakbulk work

Remove the adapter when the next load calls for a clear deck. The roll trailer can then be used for other suitable breakbulk cargo, making better use of existing equipment.

PLAN YOUR CONFIGURATION

Start with the coils.
Match the trailer.

The individual coil capacity is up to 33 tonnes in this configuration. The number of coils and total permitted payload depend on the complete adapter and trailer arrangement.

  • Coil weight, width and diameter
  • Number of coils and support positions
  • Roll-trailer dimensions, deck construction and rating
  • Mounting, load distribution and cargo restraint
  • Handling sequence and operating conditions
