The right mounting for your forklift
A coil ram is also called a coil mandrel, coil boom or coil pole. It supports a coil through its horizontal eye. The mounting must match the forklift carriage: hook-mounted and pin-type (shaft-mounted) interfaces are different arrangements. Tell us which truck you use; we will discuss the connection and load centre with you.

Which coil ram should I choose?
Start with the maximum coil weight, coil width and minimum inner diameter. Ram length, diameter and load centre must suit the cargo and available space. The forklift’s residual capacity must be checked with the attachment fitted.
Can you make a different ram length or mounting?
Yes. Use the custom coil ram enquiry for a different length, diameter or forklift interface. We confirm the working load and dimensions for the agreed application.
What if I do not have all the technical details yet?
